Please help us to find a good home for

Hope
CHOCOLATE BROWN TABBY
spayed female
DOB: April 19, 2007
SMART AND PLAYFUL

When Hope was teeny tiny, she was rescued from a very busy highway. Soon after she got her foster home, she had some mysterious fevers that the doctors could not explain. She was very sick and almost died, but with lots of good medical and foster care, Hope survived and grew big and strong. Hope still needs some minor medical care, so she will need a very special person who is willing to give her both a wonderful, loving home and meet her medical needs. Hope has been in a good foster home, but is lonely and needs a real “forever” home that can provide the love and care she will need. She would do best with a single person or couple who have a quiet home with no children. Because of her medical history, the doctors have advised that she should be the only kitty in the household. A home with a cat-friendly dog would also be fine. Hope loves to play and will meet you at the door, greeting you with purrs and her signature drooling. We know that Hope can become a wonderful and devoted companion with the right home…she is still a young girl, full of life, and ready to spend the rest of it with a very special person.

The Humane Society of Loudoun County, VA (HSLC) is a no kill, animal welfare organization founded in 1966 to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, feral, and neglected animals from Loudoun County, VA.. Our mission is to provide a second chance for our needy four-legged friends and to work toward a time when all animals have loving homes. By visiting schools, retirement homes, and other public venues, we try to enrich people´s lives with the magic of animals´ unconditional love, and to teach humans the value of proper care and responsibility of beloved pets.

As an organization, we work to influence legislation to protect animal rights. Our efforts helped local officials identify the need for and pass both anti-rodeo and hot car ordinaces. Currently we´re communicating with VA state representatives on a bill to provide officials with training on recognizing the link between animal cruelty and child abuse, then breaking that link through education.

We need everyone´s help to continue this work. HSLC is an all volunteer organization. We do not opperate a shelter nor do we receive any federal, state, or county funds. Please join us today !

Please contact HSLC to volunteer, to obtain additional information, to make a tax deductible donation, or to adopt one of our loving pets.
