Food Donations
We are constantly in need of pet food so that we can lend assistance to our furry friends that are hungry. You can help by organizing a food drive. This is a great opportunity for kids to get involved, learn organizational skills, and experience how it feels to help someone in need.
* Help families stay together! Times are hard and we know it. Help us to help families keep their pets.
* Feed our feral colonies which we TNR (trap, neuter, return) so that there are less homeless animals.
* Help in emergency situations when an animal might be hurt, and we need to humanely trap, and then give medical assistance
* Help our foster families when they need a hand to feed the animals in their care.
Food Drive Ideas:
 Host a party at your house and ask your guest to bring a bag of dry dog or cat food.
 Organize a pet food drive at your office
Have a neighborhood barbecue, happy hour, or kickball game and ask for a donation of pet food
If you have any pet food that you would like to donate please contact us and we will arrange to meet you to pick up your tax deductible donation. Members of your community, HSLC, and all of the animals thank you!
