About Us

The Humane Society of Loudoun County , VA is a 501(c)3 no kill, animal welfare organization founded in 1966. We are an all volunteer non profit business and we rely entirely on the generous donations of those in our community. We do not receive any federal, state, or county funds. Our goals are: rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, feral, and neglected or abused animals in our community; minimize the number of stray and unwanted animals through our spay/neuter program; help community members keep their pets through our financial assistance program; educate the public regarding the proper care and responsibility for the animals in their lives, and to promote a humane world for everyone.
